Abstract
The amendment of the Civil Code and the Code of Civil Procedure of 10 July 2015 fundamentally concerns further informatization of civil law and the law of civil procedure. In particular, the amendment contains the definition of a document and provides for two new forms of legal transactions: documentary and electronic. As a follow-up of those changes, the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure on documentary evidence have been modified. However, the major change consists in allowing to file electronic pleadings in every civil case and thus the parties can deliver case correspondence electronically, and the court can issue judgments in the electronic form.
