Abstract
The Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014 has changed the framework conditions applicable to distance contracts and brought about many positive changes for on-line sellers. Certain aspects are hard to be implemented in practice. The article presents three categories of changes the implementation of which constitutes a challenge for e-commerce: First, technical changes relating to purchases in on-line stores, in particular the requirements concerning the appearance of the last page of the purchasing process and the name of the button confirming the purchase. Second, extended information requirements as regards the right to withdraw for the contract and the aspects which impede correct filling of a withdrawal instruction. Third, changes relating to on-line stores, in particular calculation and consideration of the compensation for deteriorated value of goods if the contract is waived.
