Abstract
The article analyses certain substantive law and procedural issues relating to the assertion for protection of personal rights infringed by a material published on the social media on the example of the Supreme Court judgment of 14 February 2015, II CSK 747/13. The author discusses the Supreme Court’s position in the light of Art. 24 of the Civil Code. which, among other things, provides for claims to complete procedures needed to remove the consequences of a personal right infringement, as well as from the viewpoint of procedural requirements for the sentence in favour of such claim in the context of its definiteness and enforceability.
