Abstract

The amendments introduced by the Act of 20 February 2015 to the Construction Law and certain other acts are meant to simplify and speed up implementation of construction projects. For that reason the legislator introduced the duty of the construction design notification as regards e.g. construction of detached single-family houses. The amendment has also changed procedural regulations in order to shorten the construction permit proceedings and liberalized requirements for construction projects. The article analyses the amendments and evaluates whether they will in fact further the goal posed by the legislator.
