Abstrakt

Discrimination at work1 undoubtedly constitutes one of the most commonly discussed topics among law scholars. It is said that the victims of discrimination are often reluctant to assert their rights and go to court, therefore there is a growing need to strengthen and facilitate legal techniques making in this way anti-discrimination Directives more effective. The article attempts to ponder the legal standing of representative entities in the field of discrimination on the basis of Italian and German law and legal instruments used to increase the effectives of anti-discrimination law, as well as an effort to assess their conformity with the EU requirements.
