Abstract
The article discusses the proposed amendments to the Code of Civil Procedure regarding the introduction of a separate procedure with the participation of consumers (draft RCL UD 156). The author is critical as regards purposefulness of introducing a separate procedure and points out that the proposed solutions relating to territorial jurisdiction in cases involving consumers can be successfully introduced into the provisions on ordinary proceedings. The author questions the need to introduce different principles for the concentration of evidence and critically evaluates the shape of the proposed regulations from the point of view of both equality of the parties and the assumptions of the proposed separate proceedings.
