Abstract
The draft amendment to the Family and Guardianship Code and certain other acts, which is now under the legislative work, proposes a number of solutions which are meant primarily to protect the rights of minors against behaviours that violate their interests. The draft provides also for a number of regulations concerning instant maintenance payments. Insofar as some of the solutions proposed in the draft deserve to be approved, many of them need to be improved as they will undoubtedly result in the factual extension of proceedings and cause an additional burden for the courts.
