Abstract
The article is dedicated to temporal conflicts of laws with regard final dates and deadlines limiting the duration of a legal relation. Final dates for pursuing claims are treated as closely as possible to limitation periods; hence, a new statute shall apply to such a final date regardless of whether it applies to the relevant claim as well. Conversely, other final dates are governed by the act applicable to the right the exercise of which is limited by such a time limit, and conflicts of laws arise in this respect only if that applicable law is changed. The same concerns dates limiting the duration of a legal relation.
