Abstract

The article discusses selected legal issues related to mobile health (mHealth) services. First, the article refers to the definition problems of the concept of mHealth and its relation to the concepts of e-health and telemedicine. Next, legal aspects of personal data processing, including sensitive data, by mHealth applications have been discussed. The issue of the possibility to recognise such pplications as medical devices has been also raised, as well as the need to regulate mHealth software and the objectives of such regulation have been indicated.
