Abstract

Partners in a general partnership have the right to receive an advance payment for profit pay-out during the financial year, even if the company has suffered a loss. The right to advance payments must be confirmed by all partners. There is no obligation to account for the advance payment upon the end of the financial year. Claims related to advance payments and profit distributions are of an internal nature and must be addressed exclusively to the partnership.
