Abstract

The article discusses the issues of submitting pleadings via the IT system and the related action of serving court papers with the use of an account set up in such a system. It analyses the use of the possibility to make online service to a large extent, including the professional attorneys and entities entered in the court register. Also the issue of serving a document on an entrepreneur entered in the register. The authors has assessed the rationale for the regulation of the Code of Civil Procedure with respect to service performed under Art. 139 § 1 with comments as to issuing a confirmation of such a method of service.
