Abstract

The article discusses the new public register established in the wake of the amendment to the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997, i.e. the register of information security administrators. The article presents the duties of entities submitting information security administrators to the register, the powers of the registration authority (General Data Protection Inspector, GIODO) and procedural aspects of registration.
