Abstract

The article discusses journalistic secrecy the legal basis of which is Art. 15 of the Press Law of 26 January 1984. The substantive and objective scope of journalistic secrecy, as well as penal regulations relating to information disclosure have been analysed. The article also presents the views of the doctrine of the relationship of the provisions of the Press Law with the Code of Criminal Procedure and the Criminal Code. The difference between journalistic secrecy and publisher’s secrecy has been noted.
