Abstract

The author of the article discusses major changes entertained by the reform of substantive criminal law (Penal Code), which shall become effective as of 1 July 2015. So far, it is the most momentous amendment of the 1997 Penal Code. Its goal is to significantly change the current penal policy and consolidate the consensual procedures for resolving a penal process.
